Two years ago Eshun Mott and I (Emma Waverman) were bonding over our three-year olds all white diets (in my case pasta with no cheese and her case chicken fingers and frozen corn). We were stunned that two people in the food industry had such picky eaters. When we looked for help, the only resources we found scared us or made us feel like terrible parents. And thus, Whining and Dining was born. We wanted a book that was filled with tips, anecdotes, excellent recipes and made other parents grimace with the recognition that feeding kids can be a difficult, chaotic and often, hilarious job.
Hello, ladies!
Congratulations! Your book looks fabulous, as do you both. And those girls! So gorgeous.
My little guy still won't eat "blockeri" but he's liking the Pad Thai and even tried lentils! And I nearly fell over when my 5-year-old asked for an "egg salad sandwich without the salad." (He meant lettuce.)
I wish you all the best in your promotion, and I will watch for you on the telly. Wish I could be there.
xoxo Tanya
